Me and the boys went to a military modeller’s event called IPMS Open this last weekend. While much of the painting is bland by our standards, this community spits out some awesome dioramas – some of which you can see detail shots of above.

We entered a bunch of 40k models, and were promptly put in a category all by our selves. Too bad, as I’d wanted to be judged against the military pieces. Anyhow, check out the over-all winner here: an amazing Swedish aircraft model.

Last year half of Stockholm Warpaint (me, Martin and Roger) took a trip over to the UK Games Day! Once there I had enough profound foresight to pick up a Contemptor Dreadnought from Forge World without any real idea of what I wanted to do with it. (knowing only that you shouldn’t pass on such an amazing model.) I now know that it was intended for my Death Guard CSM Army. So I started working on it a couple weeks ago and finally finished it the other day!

Here is a quick photoset of some WIP pics from start to finish! I’ll try to get some “real” quality pics up soon.

English: This is the first of 2 Predator tanks that I’m currently working on. I just started working with an airbrush a while back, and am now trying to see how fast I’ll be able to get some SM tanks done. As you can see I’ve also played around with some heavier weathering on this tank. I usually go for a more ‘Eavy Metal “crisp and clean” look when painting but I felt like it was time to try something new. The airbrush, heavy weathering and research on realistic, historic tank miniature painting both online and in some diffrent books has given me a vision of how I’m going to paint 2000pts of Space Marines to the standard I want as fast as possible. Unfortunatley it seems like time itself won’t agree with my plan as I’ve had far to few hours of hobby this week.
